Thisproceduredescribeshowtoperformtheloopbacktest.
LoopbackistheprocessofanNE'stransmittingasignalfromitstransmitportand
receivingthesignalfromitsreceiveport.Theloopbacktesthelpsdetectthetransmission
linkproblems.
Throughtheloopbackoperation,maintenancepersonnelcanlocateNEfaultsalongthe
communicationlinksectionbysection.Ithelpschecktheoperatingstatusofeachnode
andthetransmissionlink,andrapidlylocatesthefaultyNEsandfaultyboards,which
facilitatesequipmentcommissioninganddebugging.
IntheNR8000SeriesWEBLMTsystem,userscansetradiolinkloopbacks(including
modulation/demodulationloopbackandIFloopback),TimeDivisionMultiplexing(TDM)
loopback,andEthernetloopback.
RadioLinkLoopback
RadiolinkloopbackhelpscheckwhethertheE1serviceisoperatingproperly.

implemented.
