Web Interface
Management
Each switch has an internal set of web pages that allows you to manage
the switch using a Web browser remotely over an IP network (see
Figure 14).

SNMP Management You can manage a switch using any network management workstation
running the Simple Network Management Protocol (SNMP) as shown in

Setting Up Your
Switch
This section provides an overview of what you need to do to get your
Switch set up and ready for management when it is in its default state.
The setup process is summarized in Figure 16. Detailed steps are
