Insert eartips in a forwarddirection.
Adjust the Headset Tension
To reduce the spring tension, pull the
eartubes apart.
To increase the spring tension, squeeze
the eartubes together.
Select the Active Side of theChestpiece
Only one side of the chestpiece is acoustically active at a time,
identified by a mark on thestem.
Rotate the chestpiece to change which side isactive.
Listen to Low and High Frequency Sounds with Littmann Tunable
Diaphragms on Each Side of theChestpiece
Use the large side for adults and the small side for pediatric or thin
patients, around bandages and carotidassessment.
Low frequencies: apply light pressure to
thechestpiece
High frequencies: apply firm pressure to
thechestpiece
