If your 3M Control Unit SCU-300 isn't sending or receiving radio communications, first, check the cable connection to both the radio and the SCU. You should hear a voice message indicating 'Radio connected'. Also, ensure that the SCU-300 is powered on, the radio volume is at an audible level, and the radio itself is turned on. Finally, verify that you are transmitting on the correct frequency.

If your 3M Control Unit SCU-300 will not send or receive intercom communications, ensure that the SCU-300 has fully charged batteries. Check the volume and make sure the intercom is powered on and properly connected; a voice message should indicate 'Intercom connected'. Also, ensure the SCU-300 is in HOT MIC mode, or that you are pressing the specified SCU PTT button and the intercom PTT button if needed.
