8.18 Installing the turbine casing
CAUTION
Damage to lamellar sealing ring
If the nozzle ring is not positioned correctly, when fitting the turbine casing
on the cartridge group, the lamellar sealing ring may jam and be damaged.
 Ensure that the nozzle ring remains in its end position.

Table 46: Tightening torque (51007)
1. If present: Fit the C-ring (51105).
2. Coat the threads of the studs (51006) with high-temperature grease.
3. Remove one of the upper screws.
4. Fit swivel lifting eye (S) to the turbine casing (51000). Secure lifting gear to the swivel lift-
ing eye.
5. Fit the turbine casing (51000) and the cartridge group together.
6. Secure the fastening strips (51002) with nuts (51007) and Verbus Ripp® washers (51003)
and tighten.
7. Remove swivel lifting eye.
8. Fit screw. Observe the tightening torque.
