2.3.1
Interfaces and Indications
The basic component of the MControl unit is the
main board. It is contained in a metal housing.
The main board is the main processing unit
providing
 basic digital I/Os
 switchgear bus interface
 serial connection to MStart / MFeed
 power supply
If specified, extension cards providing optional
functionality are added to the main board:
 Extended Digital I/O
 Extended Analog I/O
 Profibus Direct Interface
 PTC I/O
 Relay cards
 3-channel PT 100
Extension cards can be used if they are selected
with the project specific configuration within the
ABB Engineering tool.
