The genuine IEC 61850 implementation and
ABB’s Connectivity Package concept enable a
seamless integration of 615 series IEDs with
ABB’s Station Automation device COM600
and network-level control and management
system MicroSCADA Pro.
COM600 is an all-in-one communication gate-
way, automation platform and user interface
solution for utility and industrial distribution
substations. The automation platform with
its logic processor makes COM600 a flexible
implementation platform for substation-level
automation tasks. The IEDs’ connectivity
packages simplify system configuration and
integration of the IEDs.
MicroSCADA Pro is designed for complete
functionality for real-time monitoring and
control of primary and secondary equipment
in transmission and distribution substations.
It allows you to easily and safely interact with
protection and control IEDs, as well as with
the process via the operator’s workplace.
