What to do if Abit I-45C Motherboard fails to boot up after overclocking?
- LlandersonJul 26, 2025
If your Abit motherboard fails to boot after overclocking or using non-standard BIOS settings: 1. Turn off the power supply, wait one minute, and turn it back on. If there's no power switch, disconnect the power cord for a minute, then reconnect. Then press and hold the key while powering on the system. If successful, release and press to enter BIOS and correct the settings. Repeat if needed. 2. Locate the CCMOS jumper near the battery. Switch the jumper from the 1-2 position to 2-3 for one minute to clear CMOS data, then return it to 1-2. 3. Disconnect the ATX power connectors from the motherboard and remove the button battery while discharging CMOS.
