Press the SET button. The meter uses the bar
code from the first drum. The error message dis-
appears. “CTRL” flashes in the display, requesting
you to perform a quality control check. You can
use all 17 test strips. The drum symbol continues
to flash in the display until a new drum is inserted.
All test strip drums in the same package have
a bar code unique to that package. Do not try
to code the meter using drums from a
different package. Check you are using the
correct drums by comparing their batch
(or lot) codes. The batch code is preceded by
the symbol . If the message is still
