10. Attach and secure the exposed end of the wires to the designated environmental alarm, per
your requirements.
11. Repeat the steps for IN2 and COM Alarm Terminal Block.
Caution: Make sure there are no exposed wires.
Wiring Instructions for Office Alarm Output
Connecting the wires: To connect the wires to the alarm output:
1. Remove 3/8” (10 mm) of insulation from the ends of two 24 AWG solid wires (any wire
gauge of 26-18 AWG and any color is acceptable).
2. In one side of the "Out" terminal block on the rear panel, use a Phillips #0 screwdriver to
loosen the terminal block screw.
3. Insert a wire end into the socket.
4. Tighten the terminal block screw.
5. Gently pull the wire to make sure it is held in place.
6. Repeat steps 2 to 5 for the other wire on the other side of the "Out" terminal block.
7. Attach and secure the exposed end of the wires to the external alarm device(s), per your
requirements.
Caution: Make sure there are no exposed wires.
