Why Active Pressure Washer foam blaster is not working?
    • L
      Lori TuckerAug 17, 2025
If the foam blaster on your Active Pressure Washer isn't working, consider these possibilities: * The detergent container might be empty, so add more detergent. * The detergent bottle or suction tube might not be properly connected; check these connections. * The detergent could be too thick; dilute it. * The filter on the detergent suction tube might be clogged; run warm water through it to remove any build-up. * The detergent suction tube might be damaged or clogged; remove any obstruction or replace the tube.

Why does my Active 2.3 motor not start?
    • E
      Eric ColemanAug 20, 2025
The Active Pressure Washer motor may not start for several reasons. First, check if the device is in OFF mode and push the ON/OFF button to turn it ON. Ensure the power cord is properly plugged in. If you're using an extension cord, it might be too long, the wrong gauge, or damaged; replace it with a 25’ (7.6 m) or 50’ (15 m) 14/3 gauge cord. The power outlet could also be the issue, so try a different outlet. Finally, the pressure washer circuit breaker might have tripped; allow the device to cool before restarting.

What to do if Active Pressure Washer output pressure fluctuates?
    • B
      brittneycraneAug 23, 2025
If the output pressure of your Active Pressure Washer fluctuates, it could be due to several reasons. Ensure you have enough inlet water supply by fully turning on the faucet and checking the garden hose for kinks, leaks, or blockages. Another cause might be the pump sucking air; inspect all hoses and fittings to ensure they are airtight, then turn the device OFF and purge the pump by pulling the trigger on the spray gun until a steady flow of water emerges. Also, the water inlet filter could be clogged, so remove and rinse it with warm water. Finally, the discharge nozzle could be obstructed; blow out or remove any debris with a fine needle. Calcified gun, hose, or power nozzle also can cause this problem, so run distilled vinegar through the detergent container.

Why is my Active 2.3 Pressure Washer pump noisy?
    • S
      Susan NelsonAug 26, 2025
A noisy Active Pressure Washer pump can be caused by a few things. The pump might be sucking air; check that all hoses and fittings are airtight, then turn the device to OFF mode and purge the pump by pulling the trigger on the spray gun until a steady flow of water emerges through the nozzle. Alternatively, the water filter could be clogged; remove it and rinse it with warm water.

Why Active Pressure Washer does not reach high pressures?
    • T
      Thomas HarrisAug 28, 2025
If your Active Pressure Washer isn't reaching high pressures, several factors could be responsible. The garden hose might be too small; replace it with a 1” (25 mm) or 5/8” (16 mm) garden hose. A restricted water supply could also be the cause; check the garden hose for kinks, leaks, or blockage. Ensure you have enough water supply by fully opening the water source. The water inlet filter might be clogged; remove the filter and rinse it with warm water. Lastly, the pump could be sucking air; check if all hoses and fittings are airtight and purge the pump by turning the device to OFF mode and pulling the trigger on the spray gun until a steady flow of water emerges through the nozzle.

What to do if Active 2.3 motor hums but fails to run?
    • M
      Michael MooneyAug 31, 2025
If your Active Pressure Washer motor hums but doesn't run, it could be due to several reasons. First, verify that only the pressure washer is running on the circuit, as the supply voltage might be below the minimum requirement. The system may also have residual pressure; turn the device to OFF mode, pull the trigger on the spray gun to release pressure, and then turn the device back ON. Voltage loss from an extension cord could also be the issue; unplug any extension cords and plug the unit directly into the outlet. Lastly, residual friction among components might be the cause; disconnect the water supply and power ON for 2 to 3 seconds, repeating this procedure a few times until the motor starts.
