How to fix no outdoor sensor reception on my ACU-RITE 06087 Monitor?
    • J
      jjonesAug 13, 2025
If your ACU-RITE Monitor shows no bars for the outdoor sensor, try these steps: * Relocate the display and/or the 3-in-1 sensor so they are within 330 ft (100 m) of each other. * Ensure both units are at least 3 feet (.9 m) away from electronics like TVs, microwaves, and computers to avoid wireless interference. * Use standard alkaline batteries (or lithium batteries in the sensor when the temperature is below -4ºF/-20ºC). Avoid heavy-duty or rechargeable batteries. * Synchronize the units by bringing both the sensor and display indoors, removing batteries/power adapter from each, reinstalling batteries in the outdoor sensor, reinstalling batteries/power adapter in the display, and letting them sit within a couple of feet of each other for a few minutes.

What to do if my ACU-RITE 06087 display is not connecting to Wi-Fi?
    • T
      Tami BellAug 20, 2025
If your ACU-RITE Monitor display isn't connecting to Wi-Fi: 1. Ensure the display and internet router are within range of each other. Try moving the display closer to the router. 2. Verify that the network name (SSID) and password entered are correct, noting that both are case-sensitive. 3. Reset the display by pressing and holding the RESET button for 10 seconds, located in the battery compartment. Remember to enter the date and time after the reset. 4. Confirm that DHCP is enabled on your router, as most routers have it enabled by default. 5. Make sure your router is broadcasting a 2.4 GHz network, since the weather station display only supports 2.4 GHz wireless networks.

If the outdoor temperature on your ACU-RITE Monitor is flashing or showing dashes: * Ensure the A-B-C switch in the battery compartments of both the display and sensor are switched to the same letter (A, B, or C). Why are the wind readings inaccurate on my ACU-RITE 06087?
    • K
      Kathryn DavisAug 31, 2025
To troubleshoot inaccurate wind readings on your ACU-RITE Monitor: * Consider what the wind reading is being compared to. Pro weather stations are often mounted at 30 ft or higher, so compare data with a sensor at a similar height. * Check the sensor's location. Make sure it's mounted at least 3 ft in the air without obstructions nearby. * Ensure the wind cups spin freely. If they hesitate, lubricate them with graphite powder or spray lubricant.

Why is the forecast inaccurate on my ACU-RITE 06087 Monitor?
    • M
      matthew80Sep 4, 2025
If the forecast on your ACU-RITE Monitor seems inaccurate: * Keep in mind that the Weather Forecast icon predicts conditions for the next 12 to 24 hours, not current conditions. * Allow the unit to run continuously for 33 days. Removing the battery or resetting the display will restart the Learning Mode. The forecast should be fairly accurate after 14 days, but Learning Mode calibrates for a total of 33 days.
