Function Description:
The Highland™ balances are primarily used for accurate weight measurement. They feature a DC adapter and an internal rechargeable battery, providing flexibility for both stationary and portable use. Key functions include:
- Weighing: Standard weight measurement in various units.
- Zeroing/Tare: Allows setting a new zero point or taring the weight of a container to measure net weight.
- Percentage Weighing: Displays the weight of a sample as a percentage of a reference weight.
- Parts Counting: Enables counting small parts of equal weight by setting a sample size. Note that for NTEP approved models, this feature is not legal for trade.
- Accumulation: Offers both automatic and manual accumulation modes to sum multiple weight readings.
- Calibration: Includes HandiCal™ internal calibration for quick and easy adjustment, and also supports external calibration using a verification weight (not available on approved models).

- Troubleshooting: The manual provides a comprehensive list of error messages and their possible causes and solutions, such as checking pan fit, calibration weight position, load cell damage, and battery charge.
- Warranty: Adam Equipment offers a limited warranty covering parts and labor for defects in materials or workmanship, starting from the date of delivery. Proper packaging and documentation are required for warranty claims. The warranty does not cover misuse, accidental damage, exposure to corrosive materials, or unauthorized modifications.
