Important: The new appliance may only be installed and connected by an au-
thorised service engineer.
The warranty does not cover any faults resulting from improper installation or
repairs.
1 Safety Instructions for the Installer
• A device must be provided in the electrical installation which allows the appli-
ance to be disconnected from the mains at all poles with a contact opening
width of at least 3 mm.
Suitable isolation devices are, for example, circuit breakers, fuses (screw-type
fuses are to be removed from the holder), earth leakage trips and contactors.
• The installation must guarantee shock protection.
• The stability of the unit in which the appliance is fitted must satisfy the re-
quirements of DIN 68930.
• Built-in ovens and hobs are fitted with special connector systems. They may
only be combined with appliances with a matching system.
