8.3 SHUTDOWN- UND UPS MANAGEMENT
SOFTWARE
The "CompuWatch" software specially developed for these purposes by
AEG continuously checks the mains supply and the UPS status.
In conjunction with the "intelligent" UPS, this ensures that the availability
of IT components and data security is guaranteed.
The "CompuWatch" shutdown software supports different operating
systems: Windows XP/Vista/7/8, Linux RedHat, Novell Netware, IBM
AIX, HP-UX, SUN Solaris, Mac OS X, ...
Refer to the manual on the CD for details about installing the
software on the various operating systems.
