Getting started with EDACS radio testing
using the IFR 2945B
Introduction
The IFR 2945B Communications Service Monitor is ideal-
ly suited to the testing of trunking radios. It has an exten-
sive array of built-in tests, allowing verification of radio
performance, and rapid fault diagnosis.
This application note helps the user with little experience
of either EDACS or the 2945B Communications Service
Monitor. It will guide the user through the necessary
steps involved in setting up and using the
Communications Service Monitor to test EDACS radios.
