How to perform a control solution test:
[1] Inserting a test strip:
Gently insert a new test
strip into the meter. The
meter will be activated.
[2] Meter Ready For Test: The meter
now displays the blood drop and test
strip symbols. The system is now ready
for you to apply control solution. You do
not need to set a calibration code for this
meter.
[3] Applying Control Solution: Shake the control solution
bottle. Discard the first drop of control solution and wipe the
bottle tip clean using a clean tissue or paper towel. Dispense
a second drop onto a clean surface, such as an unused
resealable plastic bag.
Bring the tip of the test strip to the control solution sample.
The system will automatically detect if a test is performed
with AgaMatrix Control Solution.
