ABORt Command
:ABORt
Resets
the
trigger system
and places
all trigger
sequences in
Idle state
.Any
actions related
to
the
trigger
system
that
are
in progress
, such
as acquiring
a measurement,
are
aborted
immediately
.
The
execution
of
an
:ABORt
command
will set
any pending
operation ag
to
F
ALSE,
for
example
ags
that
were set
by the
initiation of
the trigger
system.

Unlike
*RST

:ABORt
does not
alter the
settings programmed
by
other
commands
.

After the
:FETCh?
query

the
*TRG
command,
or
the
TRIGGER

ASIC
command,
the
:ABORt
command
will
cause
the
GPIB
bus
to
hang
up
.
T
o
avoid
this
,
clear
the GPIB
bus
by
sending
the
B
ASIC
command
CLEAR
(
address
)
before
sending
the
:ABORt
command.
