The
amplier/lter
output
is
also
monitored.
Initial
trac
king
is
done
in
single
band
sw
eeps
at slo

eep sp
eeds to
eliminate
the
eects
of
bandcross
and
hysteresis
in the
tuning coil.

will

corrected
with

and
risetime
calibration
constan
ts.)
A
squegging
clamp
adjustmen
t
limits
the

w
er
in
to the
amplier/multiplier
and
is
adjusted
in
the
amplier/lter adjustmen
ts for
maximum

w
er
without
squegging. A
\squegg" is
a
distortion
in
the
RF
output
caused

y
to

the
amplier/m
ultiplier
and

haracterized
