In Case of Difficulty
Technologies, or returning an analyzer for service, perform the quick checks listed in “Check the Basics”
on page 90. This check may eliminate the problem.
If a problem persists, you may choose to:
• Repair the analyzer yourself. See “Service Options” on page 91.
• Return the analyzer to Agilent Technologies for repair. See “Returning an Analyzer for Service” on
page 92, for more information.
WARNING No operator serviceable parts inside. Refer servicing to qualified personnel. To
prevent electrical shock, do not remove covers.
NOTE If the analyzer is still under warranty or is covered by a maintenance contract, it will be
repaired under the terms of the warranty or plan (the warranty is located at the front of
this manual).
If the analyzer is no longer under warranty or is not covered by an Agilent Technologies
maintenance plan, Agilent Technologies will notify you of the cost of the repair after
examining the analyzer.
