1 Commissioning and Operation
Starting the petrol engine
Unlock the EMERGENCY OFF switch (A/12)
on the machine (turn it to the left).
Release the EMERGENCY STOP switch
(B/11) on the remote control (turn it to the right)
and switch on the remote control with the key
switch (B/5) on the left-hand side of the remote
control (turn key to the right).
Press and hold the green release button (B/6)
on the left-hand side of the remote control for 2
seconds. The green remote control LED (B/10)
flashes quickly at first, and then slowly after the
radio connection is established. The display starts
up on the display screen. The strength of the radio
signal is indicated by the bar at the bottom right of
the display.
Decrease the engine speed with the 'rpm'
switch (B/4) until the servomotor for throttle regu-
lation has reduced to idle speed. When lowering,
you can hear the servomotor. As soon as the ser-
vomotor is no longer audible, idle speed has been
reached.
Press the engine start switch (B/9) on the re-
mote control upwards until the engine starts.
The drift is an adjustment of the crawler belt
speed. One crawler belt is controlled so that it
runs slower than the other. Drive along the slope
and turn the control button on the remote control
towards the side of the slope. If the machine trav-
els a straight shift line on a slope at constant
speed with the joystick in a straight position, the
drift is correctly adjusted.
