1.1) Visor mechanism
There is a basic mechanism screwed to the shell to which a screw with a bayonet
connection is fastened using a pair of pins which fit into their housings.
1.2) Visor
The visor is made of non-scratch polycarbonate and has a collar with hook-up inserts that fit into the housings on the movement
base. The visor collar is equipped with teeth which interact with the teeth on the movement base to offer stability while the visor
is open in the different positions.
1.3) VISOR REMOVAL / INSTALLATION
We recommend that you carry out the
following operations while resting the
helmet on a flat surface.
To remove the visor, follow the instructions
in the figure below: starting from one of
the two sides of the helmet, turn the side
screw 90° anticlockwise (1) and remove
it. Raise the visor until the inserts on the
visor correspond with the housings on the
movement base (2). Repeat operations on
the other side. Extract the visor.
To install the visor, follow the instructions
in the figure below: starting from one of
the two sides of the helmet, insert the
visor so that the side inserts coincide
with the movement base housings (1).
Holding the visor in place, insert the side
screw so that the two pins fit into the
hooks on the movement base and turn
the side screw 90° clockwise (2). Repeat
operations on the other side. Lower the
visor and check that it works properly.
