4 THE VISOR
K6 S helmet visor is made of scratch-resistant polycarbonate and it is equipped with
a mechanism which allows the visor to lift and remain open at 5 different stages.
The locking mechanism is centralised and, as well as guaranteeing the visor has a
tight seal while riding, reduces the chances that it opens in case of fall, thus prevent-
ing any foreign bodies from coming into contact with the user’s head.
4.1 WORKING POSITIONS
1. Visor closed.
2. Visor in micro-opening position in
order to allow a moderate air flow
while riding at low speed.
3. Visor at first intermediate opening
position.
4. Visor at second intermediate opening
position.
5. - Visor in full opened position.
Warning! While riding it’s always
advisable to proceed with the visor
completely closed, in position 1.
Warning! In case of prolonged inac-
tivity, we recommend leaving the vi-
sor in a micro-opening position, in
position 2.
4.2 MICRO-OPENING
Condition: the visor is opened.
• Lower the visor (1) until the plastic
hook (2) gets wedged into the open-
ing button (3) at the first click.
→ The visor is now settled in mi-
cro-opening position, at about
10 mm of distance from the chin
guard.
Warning! If necessary, ease the
joint slightly pressing the opening
button (2).
Condition: the visor is closed.
• Press the opening button (3) and,
in a single gesture, push the visor
edge (1) upwards until the plastic
hook (2) engages the opening but-
ton.
→ The visor is now settled in mi-
cro-opening position, at about 10 mm
of distance from the chin guard.
