• Cutting injuries in the case of material breakage. Danger of falling. Impact hazard due to the
risk of falling goods.
►Do not climb onto or into the device.
• Falling objects. Impact injury. Cutting injury in the case of glass breakage.
►Do not place objects on the device.
• Improper assembly of the display shelves. Danger of injury due to falling of display shelves
loaded with goods.
►The bracket for the display shelves must fully engage in the slots provided during
suspension.
• Leakage of defrosted water. Leakage of fluids from damaged packaging. Slipping hazard.
►Check for puddle formation in front of and below the device.
►Remove spilled defrosted water/spilled fluids immediately.
Safety when handling glass
• Glass breakage hazard. Cutting injuries to the body. Impact injury.
►Do not install devices with multi-pane insulating glass at altitudes above 2,000 m. Multi-
pane insulating glass can break due to air pressure differences.
►Check for damage (crack, fissure, breakage) of the glass elements. In the event of
damage, contact the maintenance service immediately (see → Chapter 10.4).
►Check for breakage of stored glass containers.
• Disposal of broken glass. Cutting injuries to hands.
►Wear protective gloves to remove splintered glass parts and the goods that may have been
damaged.
►Remove all splintered glass parts and damaged goods carefully and completely.
Dispose of splintered glass parts in an environmentally-friendly manner.
