2 Product description
General information
AHT products comply with EU Directive 1907/2006
(REACH) for the registration, evaluation, approval
and limitation of chemical materials. In the product
design, the manufacturer has considered the
environmental and disposal-friendliness of the
device, in particular, for the refrigerant propane (R-
290) and the propellant pentane (for the insulating
foam). Propane does not have any ozone depletion
potential (ODP) and only a very low greenhouse
potential (GWP) of 3. The refrigerant R-404A is
recorded in the Kyoto Protocol. It does not have any
ozone depletion potential (ODP) and has a
greenhouse potential (GWP) of 3922.

Power rating plate and serial
number
When handling the device, the information on the
“power rating plate” must be observed. This is found
on a sticker on the rear side of the device and
contains important technical data about
Device name and device type,
Serial number,
Climate class* (see → Chapter 1.3),
Rated voltage and rated frequency,
Rated current and rated consumption,
Refrigerant and amount used,
Net content,
Date of manufacture,
Test mark,
and other technical data.
