What to do if there is water leakage from my Airwell GC 30 DCI Heat Pump indoor unit?
C

If you notice water leaking from the indoor unit of your Airwell Heat Pump, it's likely that the drainage tube is blocked. Inspect the drainage tube and clear any blockages to resolve the issue.

What should I do if the indoor fan on my Airwell GC 30 DCI Heat Pump isn't working right?
D
David JohnsonSep 2, 2025
If the indoor fan on your Airwell Heat Pump isn't functioning correctly, check the voltage between the indoor fan terminals on the main PCB. If there is voltage, replace the capacitor or motor.

Why is only the indoor fan working on my Airwell GC 30 DCI?
A
Austin LongSep 1, 2025
If only the indoor fan is working on your Airwell Heat Pump, the run capacitor of the outdoor fan motor may be faulty, or the windings of the outdoor fan might be shorted. Replace the capacitor or replace the motor.

Why is only the indoor fan and compressor working on my Airwell GC 30 DCI?
M
Mr. Cody CarrAug 31, 2025
If only the indoor fan and compressor are working on your Airwell Heat Pump, the outdoor fan might be blocked. Remove any obstructions.

Why is there no air coming from my Airwell Heat Pump indoor unit when the compressor is running?
J
Jaime YoderAug 30, 2025
If there's no air supply at the indoor unit of your Airwell Heat Pump while the compressor is running, the indoor fan motor may be blocked or turning slowly, the indoor fan run capacitor could be faulty, or the motor windings may be shorted. Check the voltage and repair the wiring if necessary. Also, check if the fan wheel is tight enough on the motor shaft and tighten it if necessary. If these steps don't resolve the issue, replace the indoor fan motor.

What to do if the indoor fan of my Airwell Heat Pump doesn't start?
K
Katie StewartAug 29, 2025
If the indoor fan of your Airwell Heat Pump isn't starting, and the louvers are open with the green LED lit, first check if the unit is in heat mode and the coil is not yet warm. If so, switch to cool mode and check again. Otherwise, if there is a problem with PCB or capacitor, change to high speed and check the power supply to the motor. If it's higher than 130VAC (for triack controlled motor) or higher than 220VAC for fixed speed motors and is OK, replace the capacitor; if not OK, replace the controller.

How to troubleshoot if my Airwell Heat Pump compressor does not start?
S
Sarah ThompsonAug 28, 2025
If the compressor on your Airwell Heat Pump isn't starting, check the voltage on the compressor terminals on the outdoor unit using an ampmeter. If there's no voltage, replace the main PCB. If the voltage is low, repair the power supply. If the voltage is correct, replace the capacitor or compressor. If there is no voltage, repair electrical wiring between indoor and outdoor units.

Why is my Airwell GC 30 DCI only blowing air and not cooling or heating?
M
Melissa HamiltonAug 27, 2025
If your Airwell Heat Pump is only blowing air and not cooling or heating, it could be due to a faulty outdoor fan motor or another fault that caused the compressor overload protection to cut out. Remove any obstructions from the outdoor fan. If the issue continues, replace the PCB.

What to do if my Airwell GC 30 DCI doesn't respond to the remote control?
L
Logan MillsAug 27, 2025
If your Airwell Heat Pump isn't responding to the remote, first check the remote control batteries. If the batteries are OK, inspect the display and display wiring. If these are okay, replace the display PCB. If the problem remains, replace the controller.
