Why is my Airwell GC 12 DCI not responding to the remote control?
    • M
      martin21Aug 8, 2025
If your Airwell Heat Pump unit isn't responding to the remote control, the remote control message may not be reaching the indoor unit. First, check the remote control batteries. If the batteries are fine, inspect the display and display wiring. If those are OK, replace the display PCB. If the unit still doesn't respond, replace the controller.

Why is the indoor fan of my Airwell GC 12 DCI Heat Pump not starting?
    • M
      Michelle JohnsonAug 17, 2025
If the indoor fan of your Airwell Heat Pump doesn't start, but the louvers are open and the green LED is lit, there could be a few reasons: * If the unit is in heat mode, the coil might not be warm yet. Try changing to cool mode to test. * There might be a problem with the PCB or capacitor. Switch to high speed and check if the power supply to the motor is higher than 130VAC (for triack controlled motor) or higher than 220VAC for fixed speed motors. If it is, replace the capacitor. If not, replace the controller.

What to do if Airwell GC 12 DCI responds to remote but the Green LED doesn't light up?
    • J
      Julie ThompsonAug 21, 2025
If your Airwell Heat Pump responds to the remote control message but the Operate indicator (Green LED) doesn't light up, there may be a problem with the display PCB. Replace the display PCB. If the issue persists, replace the controller.

Why is the indoor fan of my Airwell GC 12 DCI Heat Pump working when the unit is off?
    • J
      John HoffmanAug 26, 2025
If the indoor fan of your Airwell Heat Pump is working when the unit is OFF, and the fan speed can't be changed with the remote, it indicates a PCB problem. Replace the controller.

How to fix a power supply indicator (Red LED) that does not light up on my Airwell GC 12 DCI Heat Pump?
    • P
      patelwalterAug 29, 2025
If the power supply indicator (Red LED) on your Airwell Heat Pump doesn't light up, it indicates there's no power supply. Check the power supply. If the power supply is OK, check the display and display wiring. If those are OK, replace the controller.
