2.2 Preparation Before Installing
Please make note of the following items before installation of the HC Series Combo Unit:
• Ensure the correct installation of the equipment inside the cabinet. For example,
any obstruction to the internal cycle air inlet and outlet of the air conditioner
should be avoided.
• Check the accessories according to the attachment list in the carton and prepare
the tools for installation.
2.3 Installation of the Combo Unit
The following tools are required for installation:
1. Specialty screwdriver for removing external anti-theft screws
2. Phillips screwdriver for removing the controller connecting cable and other cabinet
screws
3. Current Meter
4. Wire Cutter
5. Crimping Tool
For mechanical installation, please refer to Figure 2, and secure the Combo Unit to the
cabinet. To avoid impeding airflow to the unit, do not place any equipment inside the
cabinet within 8” (200mm) of the air inlet/outlet of the air conditioner.
