To listen with the headphones
Connect headphones with a stereo mini plug to the
PHONES \ jack.

After listening, select TAPE/6 STANDBY with
FUNCTION to turn the power off.
NOTE
Do not use irregular shape CDs (example: heart-
shaped, octagonal ones).
It may result in malfunctions.
Do not place more than one disc in the disc
compartment.
Do not try to open the disc compartment during play.
Do not touch the lens. Doing so may cause
malfunctions.
PROGRAMMED PLAY
Up to 16 tracks can be programmed from the disc.
1 In stop mode, press PROG.
“Pr” and the program indicator flash.
2 Press r, t to select a track, then
press PROG to store it.
“Pr” and the program indicator flash again.
3 Repeat step 2 to program other tracks.
4 Press PROG to finish the program.
The numbers of the programmed tracks are
displayed in order.
5 Press e to start play.
The program indicator lights up while the unit is in
programmed play mode.
To check the program, press PROG twice in stop
mode.
To clear the program, press s once in stop mode so
that the program indicator is turned off.
To change the programmed tracks, clear the
program and repeat all the steps again.
To add a track to the program, repeat steps 1 and 2
in stop mode. The new track will be added after the last
programmed track.
