You must manually play back
some records.
The micro-computer detects the exist-
ance of a record and then sets the
record speed and size. This is done by
detecting the amount of light passing
through the record sensing slots. There-
fore, when you use transparent, colored
(red, blue, white, etc.) or irregular sized
(not 30 cm or 17 cm) records, the
micro-computer cannot detect the cor-
rect amount of light. For such records,
play back the record manually. Refer to
page 10.
When you will have to set the
speed yourself
@ When you want to play back 30 cm
record at 45 rpm.
@ When you want to play back 17 cm
record at 33-1/3 rpm.
Set the speed with the SPEED button
after depressing the START/CUT (S/C)
button.

Pour reproduire un disque
Vous devez reproduire manuelle-
ment certains disques.
Le micro-ordinateur détecte I’existence
d’un disque ainsi que sa vitesse et sa
dimension. Ceci est effectué par détec-
tion de la quantité de lumiére passant
par les fentes du senseur de disque.
Lorsque vous utilisez des disques trans-
parents, colorés (rouges, bleus, blancs,
etc.) ou de dimensions non standard
(autres que 30 ou 17 cm), le micro-
ordinateur ne peut pas détecter la quan-
tité correcte de lumiére. Pour ces dis-
ques, réglez tout d’abord la vitesse avec
le sélecteur de vitesse (SPEED), et re-
produisez-les manuellement. Voir page
10.
Vous devrez régler vous-méme la
vitesse:
@ Lorsque vous voulez reproduire des
disques de 30 cm 4 45 tpm.
@ Lorsque vous voulez reproduire des
disques de 17 cm 4 33-1/3 tpm.
Réglez la vitesse 4 I’aide du sélecteur de
vitesse (SPEED) aprés avoir appuyé
sur la touche START/CUT (S/C).
Place the record on the platter.
At the end of the record, the tone arm
will return to the standby position and
the platter will stop rotating.
A la fin du disque, le bras acoustique
retournera a la position d’attente et le
plateau s’arrétera de tourner.
The tone arm will move the stylus over
to the lead-in groove (beginning of the
record) and then descend.
Le bras acoustique aménera la pointe
de lecture au-dessus du sillon d’attaque
(début du disque) puis descendra.
