beginning:

Prepare
the
timer
and
make
all
the
necessary
connections.
Connect
the
Power
Cord.
@
Check
that
the
timer
is
set
to
the
correct
time.
1.
Set
the
timer
to
EVER-ON
or
ON.
*
There
are
differences
between
the
timers
on
the
market
so
please
refer
to
the
timer’s
operator’s
manual
for
the
correct
procedure
for
your
timer.
2.
Turn
on
the
power
to
the
deck
and
the
other
components
connected
to
the
timer
and
prepare
for
recording.
See
page
7.
3.
Set
the
REV
SELECTOR.

deck's

When
recording
in
forward
direction
press
the
Forward

and

buttons
simultaneously.

If
recording
is
to
begin
in
the
reverse

Set
the
TAPE
SELECTOR
correctly
for
the
tape
being

SPEED
selector

the
desired
recording

Depress
the
stop
button
(
mm
)
to
re-
lease
recording
standby.

Set
the
TIMER
START
selector
on
this
deck
to
REC.

Set
the
timer
start
time
and
length
of
recording
time,
then
set
the
timer
to
AUTO
or
TIMER
the
deck
and
other
components
will
be
turned
off.
*
If
this
deck
is
connected
to
a
multi
program
timer,
continuous
recording
for
a
long
period
is
possible.
*
All
the
components
will
be
turned
on
and
the
deck
will
go
into
recording
mode
at
the
designated
time.
@
Once
absentee
recording
has
finished
the
power
supply
will
be
automatically
cut
to
the
components
but
please
ensure
the
TIMER
START
selector
is
OFF
before
switching
on
the
power
to
this
deck
again.
