Introduction
To support these enhanced features, ensure that the communication server has the appropriate
settings. A basic checklist of the necessary settings follows. More detailed information is available
in the Office Communications & OmniPCX Enterprise installation manuals, and in video
presentations.

Checklist for Office Communications server
T2 trunks only can be used to connect to Alarm server, ISVPN enabled
Access1 or Access2 limits: 3 digits maximum
check and update if numbering plan required
check and update if trunk group required
check and update the number of allocated T2 channels

Checklist for OmniPCX Enterprise server
T2 or H323 trunks can be used to connect to Alarm server
Access1 or Access2 limits:
for H323 trunk to Alarm server: 3 digits for trunk selection, 1 digit for gatekeeper alarm server
selection.
using ARS: up to 4 digits
create H323 trunk group
create gatekeeper if it does not exist
check and update if Ethernet parameters required
check and update if COS for calling phone feature required
name display (1) and caller ID
check and update if timer 42 required
