4.14.1.4.4 Adding a third module
- Replace the HSL1 board of the PowerCPU board with an HSL2 board.
- Reuse this HSL1 board by placing it on the PowerMEX board of the third module.
In an installation using two modules, the PowerCPU (base module) and PowerMEX
(module expansion) boards are fitted with an HSL1 board.
4.14.1.5 Installation Upgrade
This section outlines the major considerations to be taken into account when migrating to R8.x
from:
- R3.x
- R4.x
- R5.x
- R6.x
- R7.x
Because of the hardware changes in R8.x, all the R8.x upgrade must be considered as an
on-site procedure.
The following procedures are based on minimal hardware configurations. For other services,
such as VoIP, enhanced VMU and ACD statistics, additional hardware is used and must be
taken into consideration.
