7.1 Maintenance
7.1.1 PowerCPU board used
When maintaining and exchanging a PowerCPU board, the data stored in the SD card and/or
in the Hard Disk will be restored by applying the following procedures.
7.1.1.1 Procedure to Exchange a PowerCPU
7.1.1.1.1 PowerCPU with SD Card (without Hard Disk)
The SD Card Is not Faulty and Does not Have to Be Exchanged
- Insert the SD card in the new PowerCPU board.
- All data stored in the SD card is available after the PowerCPU board exchange. To allow
the data restoration (messages, conversations, call detail records) a software version must
be installed in the new PowerCPU board. To restore the data configuration information a
cold reset of the system is required, and the "Data saving" process via OMC must be
launched (see the procedure described in the paragraph SD Card Replacement ).
SD Card Replacement
Launch the "Data restore" process via the OMC to restore the data configuration information
after the SD card insertion.
Select Comm ->Write to PBX, select the box Voice Prompts (screen "Write to PBX").
The data restored is:
- names and announcements of the voice mail unit.
- auto attendant announcements, greetings.
Voice mail messages, NMC call detail records and recorded conversations cannot be restored.
7.1.1.1.2 PowerCPU with Hard Disk
The Hard Disk Is not Faulty and Does not Have to Be Exchanged
- Install the old Hard Disk in the new PowerCPU board.
- After a cold reset of the system, launch the "Data restore" process via the OMC (see the
paragraph SD Card Replacement ). All information saved on the Hard Disk is normally
available (including voice messages and recorded conversations).
The Hard Disk Is Faulty and Has to Be Changed
- All messages, recorded conversations and NMC call detail records are lost.
- The cache memory is also lost.
- Launch the "Data restore" process via the OMC (see the paragraph SD Card Replacement
) to restore voice files (voice prompts).

 
