To recover the first correspondent:
On a single-line terminal, press
On a multi-line terminal, press the corresponding line key.

While a call is in progress, to transfer the call to another terminal:
dial the transfer number directly and press (multi-line terminal) or hang
up (single-line terminal).
Note: Transfer between two outside calls is not generally possible (depends on country).

While a call is in progress, audible beeps may be received.
If repeated beeps are received, an internal caller or operator is trying to contact
you.
If only a single beep is heard, another external caller is attempting to contact you.

You may want to put him on hold and recover the call later on the same terminal.
