Your 4074 handset can be programmed to operate on five different DECT systems
(Alcatel or GAP). Entry 1 is generally reserved for your main Alcatel 4400 system.
It is recommended that other entries be assigned in descending sequence order,
storing the most frequently used system numbers assigned to the lower numbers
(entries 2 to 5).

If the systems used are in remote sites (and remote from each other, with no
overlapping zones), the system is selected automatically when the terminal is
switched on.
In cases where the fixed system zones overlap geographically to some degree,
system selection may be modified by the user, as follows:
