To receive the special ringing for calls to another number:

Answering a general bell
When the operator is absent, outside calls to the operator are indicated by a
general bell. To answer:
“Supervised call
ringing” programmed key
same key to cancel
This service must have been programmed by your
installation technician.
“Answer general bell”
