Before rst use
• Unpack the appliance but keep all packaging materials until you have made
sure your new can opener is undamaged and in good working order.
• Plastic wrapping can be a suffocation hazard for babies and young children, so
ensure all packaging materials are out of their reach.
Using the can opener
• To attach the blade bracket to the can opener, make the key tabs align with
the key slots, push it frontward to x it (see Fig. 1), then press down the blade
bracket to ensure it has been assembled in place (see Fig. 2).

• Unwind the cord to its full length and inspect it for
damage. Do not use the appliance if the appliance or its
cord have been damaged or are not working properly.
• Place the appliance on a at, dry surface.
• Connect to the power source. Make sure that the can
opener voltage (see rating plate) and the line voltage
match.
• Raise the blade bracket enough to wedge the can
between the cutting blade and feed gear. (see Fig 3.)
• Press the bracket down all the way to pierce the lid and
start the cutting process. When you push down the
bracket the motor will start rotating the can.
• When the can is opened, the can opener will stop
automatically. To remove the can, hold it with one hand
and raise the blade bracket with the other hand.
