  If you cannot open the lid of your ALDI Electric Pressure Cooker, it could be because the pressure has not been fully released. Allow the pressure to release naturally, or turn the pressure regulator to the “steam release” position. Another reason may be that the safety valve has not dropped down. Use a cocktail stick to push it down, jiggle the lid and allow the steam to escape.
