ter into the fuel tank opening. Make sure that the lter is seated in the lower corner
of the fuel tank (12). If necessary, use a long screwdriver to move the lter to its
correct position, taking care not to damage it in the process.
8. Securely ret the fuel tank cap (10).
Changing the cutting blade (Fig. 10)
1. Hold the spindle in place with the allen key (26). Use the open end wrench (24) to
remove the ange nut, by turning in an anti-clockwise direction.
2. Remove the ange nut, and cutting blade (8).
NOTE: Ensure that all parts are clean of any dirt or grass prior to tting.
3. Fit the new cutting blade (8) over the inner ange.
4. Fit the ange nut and tighten rmly using the open end wrench (23) supplied, in a
clockwise direction. Use the allen key (26) to stop the spindle rotating.
