Cleaning
CAUTION!
Always set the On/Off switch

to Stop (0) & disconnect
the 13A plug from the mains supply, before starting any
cleaning and maintenance work! (See Fig. 1). Risk of
electric shock.
• Clean the machine regularly. This will help to keep the machine in good working order
and is the basis for a long working life.
• Check the chassis securing screws and hexagon nuts which secure the wheels, from
time to time to ensure that they are tight.
• If you do not intend to use the shredder for a lengthy period, protect it from corrosion
using environmentally friendly oil on metal parts.
• When you have finished your work, ensure the shredder is switched off and
unplugged. Then swing open the loading tunnel

You can now clean the inside. Use a brush to remove deposits from metal parts on
the inside. Apply a thin coating of oil to the cleaned blade plate and blades (See Fig.
14a-c).
