Water that has penetrated the housing
may cause a short circuit.
− Never submerge the thermometer in
water.
− Make sure that no water penetrates
the housing.

Improper handling of the thermometer
may result in damage.
− Do not use any aggressive cleaners,
brushes with metal or nylon bristles,
sharp or metallic cleaning utensils
such as knives, hard scrapers and the
like. They could damage the surfaces.
− Never attempt to clean the thermom-
eter with a scouring agent, petrol or a
solvent.
1. For accurate measurements, it is very important
that the infrared sensor
