Replacing the touch pad

Procedure
1 Align the screw holes on the touchpad with the screw holes on the palm-
rest assembly.
2 Replace the screws that secure the touchpad to the palm-rest assembly.
3 Slide the touchpad cable into the touchpad connector and press down the
latch to secure the cable.
Post-requisites
1 Follow the procedure from step 5 to step 9 in “Replacing the palm rest”.
2 Follow the procedure from step 3 to step 7 in “Replacing the solid-state
drive”.
3 Replace the base panel.
