Mounting in a rack or case
• Ensure that there is adequate ventilation around the underside of the CQ
where the cooling fan is located.
• A minimum of 6U is required in the rack or case. This is the size of the
rack ears and includes space for connection of the power supply.
• Extra space is required at the front of the unit to allow for connection of
headphones.
• Extra space at the rear may be required for access to the power switch,
though this can be left on and power can be switched at the mains - as
long as the correct shutdown procedure is carried out on the CQ.
• A point for cable tying the power connection to the rack ears is provided
to help prevent accidental disconnection.
