protectionforthetransmission,theOMalsosavesyoumoneybypreventing
unnecessaryuidchanges.
Oillifeiscalculatedbasedonhoursofengineandtransmissionoperation.
Milesareapproximatedfromthehoursandcalibratedinformation.The
numberofshiftspermile(shiftdensity)determinesthedutycycleofthe
transmissionandtheoillifelimitsarebasedontheobserveddutycycle.Hours
areaccumulatedwhentheengineisrunning,includingwhenthevehicleis
stationaryforPowerTakeoff(PTO)operation,orforextendedidletime.

TheTRANSSERVICEindicatorilluminateswhenremaininguidlifereaches
1%.Afterwards,everytimethevehicleisstartedandD(Drive)isselected,the
TRANSSERVICEindicatorilluminatesagainandstaysonfortwominutes
toremindtheoperatorauidchangeisneeded.Thisoccursuntilserviceis
performedandtheOMisreset.
