6.2.8 Traction batteries (Type:Lead Crystal)
6.2.8.1 General warnings
The battery is an essential component for machine operation. It is important to
ensure that it remains in a good condition over time since this will lengthen its
working life, limit any problems that may arise and reduce the running costs of
the machine.
Comply with the following instructions:
• THE INSTALLATION IS PERFORMED BY THE MACHINE CONSTRUCTOR, IN
ACCORDANCE WITH THE INSTRUCTIONS AGREED WITH THE SUPPLIER'S
TECHNICAL SUPPORT;
• CAREFULLY READ THE INSTRUCTIONS FOR USE AND MAINTENANCE BEFORE
PERFORMING ANY OPERATION WITH THE BATTERY;
• AN IMPROPER USE OF THE BATTERY, OR SHORT CIRCUIT BETWEEN THE POLES,
OVERHEATING, NEXT TO NAKED FLAMES OR SPARKS, CAN CAUSE SERIOUS
DANGERS;
• DO NOT EXPOSE THE BATTERY TO HEAT OR FIRE OR MICROWAVES;
• DO NOT INSERT ANY METALLIC OBJECT INTO THE BATTERY COMPARTMENT;
• DO NOT DEPOSIT THE BATTERY TOGETHER WITH HIGH METALLIC OBJECTS
(SUCH AS THE TOOL BOX) OR TOGETHER WITH OTHER BATTERIES. DANGER TO
GENERATE A SHORT CIRCUIT ELECTRIC;
• PLACE BATTERIES AND ELECTRICAL APPLIANCES OUT OF THE REACH OF
CHILDREN.
