Check the external status of the terminals and casing for any signs of damage or
abnormal wear which may have occurred during service. If in any doubt about
the condition of the battery, it is advisable to contact the machinery
manufacturer.
DO NOT WASH OR IMMERSE THE BATTERY IN WATER OR OTHER LIQUIDS:
SHORT CIRCUIT RISK.
6.2.9 Checking the operation of the frame angle sensor
With the frequency indicated in the general chart, check the frame angle sensor.
• Position the machine with the frame inclined to the horizontal with a
value greater than 0.5° on the side. Operate the automatic levelling
control and make sure that the system automatically keeps the frame
horizontal;
• Position the machine with the frame inclined to the horizontal by a value
greater than 0.5° on the longitudinal. Operate the automatic levelling
control and make sure that the system automatically keeps the frame
horizontal;
• Position the machine with the frame inclined to the horizontal at the
maximum angle both on the longitudinal and on the side. Operate the
automatic levelling control and make sure that the system automatically
keeps the frame horizontal.
If the operations described above take place in the indicated sequence, it means
that the angle sensor is working properly.
Warning: if the conditions indicated above are not met, do not use the machine
and contact a qualified technician trained by Almac S.r.l.
