When replacing water in chamber, check the chamber temperature if it is cold enough, or it may
cause burn injury.
Empty chamber, drain whole water in chamber, then close lid when autoclave is not used for
over a week.
Be sure to check water level in the chamber. In case of lack, pour water up to level of the base
plate. If the water is impure, replace it.
Water put in the chamber must be distilled one or purified one. Frequent cleaning of the chamber
is requested when using city water which generates scale in it.
Do not spill water when pouring it. If you spill water, wipe off it.
Do not use well water and industrial water which may cause corrosion and/or smudge.
Failure to use proper water may decrease life of the heating element and/or the chamber.
Use base plate hook when unloading base plate.(CL-40L only)
Check of lid clamping unit
How to check
1. Open the lid.
2. When sliding the lid lock lever slowly to the close position (left end), check all clamps
turn around to the locking positions. If the clamps are at locking positions, you can
see them from the slit of the silicon rubber pan. (Fig.1, Fig.2)
3. Slide the lid lock lever to the open position (right end), then close the lid.
4. Slide the lid lock lever to the close position with pressing the front part of the lid
cover, check if the lid lock lever is slid smoothly.
Do not use autoclave if clamps do not turn around to locking positions.
If you leave clamps unchanged, it may cause fatal accident. Contact local distributor.

Do not open lid until chamber pressure goes down to “0MPa”.
Steam spouts out of chamber by residual pressure which may cause burn injury.
