Overview

The Three Tier Round Columns Fountain with LED Light is an outdoor decorative water feature designed to enhance any environment with its modern aesthetic and soothing sounds. This fountain is crafted with a contemporary column design, featuring three distinct tiers from which water cascades, creating a calming ambiance. The integrated LED lights are a key feature, providing long-lasting, energy-efficient illumination that transforms the fountain into a stunning visual display during the nighttime hours.

To ensure optimal performance and longevity, proper assembly and usage are crucial. Upon receiving the fountain, all components should be carefully unpacked and checked to ensure nothing is missing. The fountain base should be placed on a smooth, level surface, allowing sufficient space to access the pump for setup and maintenance. The pump, which is typically packaged separately, needs to be removed from its packaging, and its flow control should be adjusted to the lowest setting initially. This prevents excessive splashing during the initial setup phase, allowing for a gradual increase in water flow once the fountain is fully assembled.

Connecting the pump involves inserting the vinyl tubing from inside the fountain into the water pump. Once connected, the pump is placed back into the fountain. The LED light cord plug is then pulled through the back opening of the fountain and connected to the transformer. It is important to ensure all light connectors are tight, especially in fountains with multiple lights, which may have additional internal connections.

Once the pump and lights are connected, the next step is to gently pour water into the fountain basin. Care should be taken to avoid overflowing and splashing. The water level must completely submerge the pump, and it is recommended to use distilled water to prevent scale build-up. During the first operation, it may take up to five minutes for the air to be fully expelled from the pump, allowing water to flow properly. After the water is added, the pump and light cords are plugged into a local power supply. It is crucial to ensure that there is no water around the plug and that the power source remains in a dry place to prevent electrical hazards.

Once the fountain is operating, the water pump's flow can be adjusted to personal preference. The adjuster can be turned counter-clockwise to increase water flow or clockwise to decrease it. After setting the desired flow, the back door cover is installed by sliding it into its designated opening. Regular maintenance is essential, including adding water periodically as it evaporates over time.

Troubleshooting common issues can help maintain the fountain's performance. If the pump fails to run, checking the circuit breaker or trying a different outlet can confirm if the pump is receiving electrical power. The pump discharge and tubing should be checked for kinks or obstructions, which can often be cleared with a garden hose. Inspecting the rotor by removing the front cover and plate to access the impeller area can reveal if the rotor is jammed or broken. If the pump "spews," it usually indicates that the water level is too low, and more water needs to be added to fully submerge the pump. Abnormal loud noises from the pump often require disconnecting it, removing the front cover and plate, and carefully gripping and pulling out the impeller/rotor assembly. Rinsing this assembly and cleaning the cavity with clean water can resolve many noise issues. If breakage or damage is found, replacement parts may be needed.

For long-term care, it is important to always unplug the pump from the electrical outlet before cleaning or handling. Only clean water should be used, and the fountain or its parts should not be placed in any other liquid. Periodically changing the water and cleaning the pump helps prevent the growth of microorganisms. During extended periods of non-use or freezing weather, the unit should be disconnected, drained, and stored in a dry place. The fountain should not be operated in temperatures below 41°F (5°C) or above 90°F (30°C). The pump should never be lifted, carried, or pulled by its power cord, and the maximum voltage and wattage on the transformer should not be exceeded. Crucially, the pump should never be allowed to run dry, as this can cause significant damage.

Alpine Corporation provides a limited warranty for its products, covering repairs or replacements at their discretion within the warranty period. A valid proof of purchase with the date clearly indicated is required, along with photos of any defective merchandise to help determine the cause of the defect. The warranty covers manufacturing defects but excludes damages caused by improper storage, freezing water, "hard water," caustic cleaners, or negligence. Paint and color retention are covered for the first year, with the understanding that natural erosion and fading will occur over time. The warranty does not cover transit damages, inadequate care, environmental elements, immersion in water (unless specified), or improper installation/storage/maintenance. Any modifications or misuse will void the warranty. Replacement parts can be obtained through the original retailer or approved parts retailers, and shipping charges may apply for warranty claims after 30 days of purchase.
