Improper storage and use of hard water/caustic cleaners can cause damage and void warranty.
Natural erosion of color is normal; warranty covers severe/complete fading within the first year.

Check circuit breaker, outlet, tubing for kinks, and rotor for jamming or breakage.
Ensure pump is fully submerged in sufficient water to prevent the 'spewing' effect.
